Ever wondered about the history of the buildings that surround the Subway? Dress for the Weather will be leading a free tour on Saturday 15th September as part of Doors Open Day: Glasgow weekend.
This all-day tour will focus on the art and architecture of the city, the history of the underground system and the landmarks that surround its stations.
The size and extent of the Subway means it offers a great opportunity to see a wide cross-section of the city within a day. The Sub-Tour sheds light on the art, architecture, culture and people Glasgow has to offer.
And, with a Discovery Ticket, you can join a guided walk of the streets between the stations and learn about Glasgow’s rich built heritage with stops revealing the city’s personality and vibrancy in more depth.
You will need to purchase a Discovery Ticket before the start of the tour, more information and booking here: Glasgow Building Preservation Trust – Doors Open Day.
