Subway’s the best way to avoid roadworks

With the centre of Glasgow set to grind to a halt for drivers as road closures come into force next week, there’s never been a better time to hop on the Subway to get around the city.

Partial and full road closures will affect St Vincent Street, Jamaica Street junction, Argyle Street and Union Street from Monday, 15 October, for the next six to eight weeks. See full details here.

With trains every four minutes during peak times – and every eight minutes off peak – using the subway during this time means that you can keep moving around the city with ease and miss the delays above ground.

Going round in circles really does get you places!
