As the new semester swiftly approaches, the time has come for students across Glasgow, new and old, to seek out the best modes of transport – but this isn’t always easy! It can be tricky to find the answers you’re looking for over all of the noise and sometimes it can seem like it’s just too much hassle!
We’ve decided to make things really simple for you this year and have organised our very first Student Transport Fayre. We’ve gathered together some of the main transport providers in Glasgow to help you figure out exactly what the right modes of transport are for YOU.
On the 13th & 14th September you can expect to find Buchanan Bus Station bustling with students as we have First Bus, McGills, citylink, Stagecoach, ZoneCard and Glasgow Subway set up from 10am – 4pm, providing you with the opportunity to engage, ask questions and find out about each operators services, ticketing and routes. Plus, Glasgow Subway will be there to help you register for your Smartcard too.
That’s not all! Our lovely friends over at Radio Clyde will be down at Buchanan Bus Station, giving away goodies and a 28 day ticket for Subway travel to one lucky person on each day – make sure you don’t miss out on your chance to win free travel!
So, if you’re unsure of the best way to get around Glasgow or just want to find out a bit more about the transport options open to you as a student then come down to Buchanan Bus Station on the 13th & 14th September between 10am – 4pm and get your travel for the semesters ahead sorted.
