The Subway will open early this Sunday (29 September) to help all those taking part in the Great Scottish Run make it to the starting line in good time.
The Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run 10k is the perfect way to see the stunning Glasgow sights, which include The Hydro, Pacific Quay and the McLennan Arch. The course takes runners on a tour of the River Clyde, before heading back towards Glasgow Green for the big finish.
For the more adventurous amongst you, the half marathon will start in George Square and will pass many of the iconic venues that feature in Scotland’s biggest city, including Nelson’s Monument, the Clyde Arc and the Finnieston Crane.
All our stations will open early and the first Subway trains will run from the city centre from 7.45am to ensure you arrive in plenty of time for your run. Our car parks also open then too!
