Subway launches its Christmas campaign

From 17th November, Subway will open until 8.30pm on Sundays as we begin our Christmas timetable.  To promote the new times SPT’s marketing team has now launched their Christmas campaign.

The campaign grows on the success of last summer’s ‘My Glasgow, My Subway’ campaign which saw six Glaswegian characters share their stories and experiences of the city’s Subway. The campaign now takes a festive steer showing two new sets of characters; Fiona and Jessica and the Islam family. The girls share their love for shopping and how convenient Park and Ride is for all their presents, while the Islam’s tell us how their Christmas tradition of getting the Subway to the panto is a festive treat not to be missed.

The campaign can be seen around the city, on social channels and TV from this week with the timetable running until 22nd December.

Director of Subway Antony Smith said:

“We’re delighted to continue the theme of our latest My Glasgow My Subway campaign in the Christmas period showing what the Subway means to real people using the system. As always at this time of year, we’ve extended our Sunday opening hours to try and meet the needs of passengers out and about in the city in the run up to Christmas.”
