Subway tickets and fares
The information on this page describes the various types of ticket available for travelling on the Subway, and the relevant prices.
Subway ticket information
Subway booking offices are staffed at all times and all tickets are available at any Subway station.
You can also purchase a single or return ticket from one of the automatic ticket machines at most stations.
Multi-journey Subway tickets can also be purchased online and from St Enoch Travel Centre. Open SPT's Online Ticket Sales page.
Ten and 20 multi-journey tickets can be used at any time of the day and there is no time limit to validity. Ticket barrier machines display journeys remaining on your ticket.
Seven-day season tickets can be used at any time of the day and give unlimited travel. Please note, you must supply a passport-sized photo the first time you purchase a seven-day Subway season ticket.
Discovery tickets give unlimited travel for one day and are valid after 09:30 Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday. Find out more about SPT's Discovery Ticket.
