172/172A: Halfway – Cambuslang – East Kilbride (1)
Greenlees Road, Cambuslang will be closed at A749 East Kilbride Road Northbound from 9am Monday August 24th to 6pm Wednesday August 26th 2026 to facilitate Scottish Water ironwork repairs. Service 172A journeys will continue on the A749 and divert via East Kilbride Road, Western Road, B759 Greenlees Road, and follow normal route onto East Greenlees Road. Teiglum Road, Lesmahagow will be closed between Carlisle Road Roundabout and Strathaven Road overnight 7pm - 7am from Monday 10th August 2026 for up to 8 nights to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. Service 8 and 8A journeys toward Lanark Interchange will follow normal route to Abbeygreen, and divert via Milton, Carlisle Road, B7078 and continue normal route. Journeys in the opposite direction will follow the same diversion in reverse. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Grahamston Road, Paisley will be closed between Dykebar Hospital Entrance and Blackbyres Road from Monday 10th August to Friday 14th August 2026 to facilitate Carriageway Works. Service 166 journeys from Neilston will follow normal route to Grahamston Road and divert via Blackbyres Road, A736 Glasgow Road, A726 Hurlet Road, and continue normal route.
