248A/248C: Law - Wishaw General Hospital - Cleland - Carfin - Holytown - Monklands Hospital
Bowhousebrae Road will be closed from Monday 19th October to Friday 23rd October 2026 between the junctions of Caldervale Street and Roseberry Roadto facilitate bridge parapet repairs. Service248C will not operate via Gartness for the duration of the closure. In the absence of local bus provision due to the closure passengers of Gartness can utilise the local SPT MyBus service to connect them between Gartness and Airdrie only in order to meet connecting services. The MyBus enquiries line can be contacted on 0345 128 4025 where a member of the team will be able to assist. Please note MyBus bookings are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Western Road, Cambuslang at Bute Tower will be closed from 8am Thursday 15th October to 6:00pm Friday 16th October 2026 to facilitate telecom inspections. Service 172 journeys from East Kilbride Bus Station will operate normal route to A749 East Kilbride Road, continue on East Kilbride Road, divert via B759 Greenlees Road and picking up normal route. Journeys from Halfway will operate the same diversion in reverse. We will not be able to serve Western Road during these works. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Skye Road, Rutherglen will be closed between Burnside Road and No. 111 from 9:30am Wednesday 14th October to 7am Thursday 15th October 2026 to facilitate Scottish Water works. Service 14 journeys will divert via Cathkin By-Pass in both directions during the closure. We will not be able to serve Skye Road and Cullins Road during the closure. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
