Glasgow Subway has brought joy and fun this year with its' 2024 Christmas campaign 'Gift of Glasgow'. Designed to showcase the city and the Subway network the campaign brightened the season for commuters, residents and visitors alike. 

Spotlight on Local Talent

To bring the story to life, SPT collaborated with local actors, many of whom shared their excitement about participating in such a well - known brand campaign.

Actor David Cooke, who played the Grandad in the family creative, said: " The experience of filming, and being involved with the Glasgow Subway Christmas Campaign, was really great.  The filming was well organised, with a very relaxed, yet progressional and encouraging team.  I definitely felt more Christmasy coming away from the filming."

His co-star Jill Grimmond, a member of 'The Pantheon Club' a local theatre company based in Glasgow, added: " As a proud Glaswegian I loved being part of the Christmas campaign for Glasgow Subway… our underground is such a fundamental element of our city’s transport heritage.  Being part of and helping promote the Subways' story, even in just a small way, was a lovely moment.  And that it was at the most magical time of the year was an added bonus."

Abbie McPherson, a budding young actor currently studying BA in Acting, and who played one of the party-goers also appreciated the opportunity: " I had a wonderful time participating and being able to bring some festive spirit to the campaign. Everyone was so welcoming and supportive as well as being in great communication and I always felt cared for on set. I’m so happy to be a part of the ad for SPT and I appreciate the experience they have given me."
