Our latest ZoneCard prize draw winner Wilma Sievwright is celebrating collecting a year’s free travel in SPT’s twice-yearly survey prize draw.
Wilma, who only got a ZoneCard last May, uses it regularly to get about from her home in Irvine to work in Paisley where she works shifts in the amusement arcade so can be travelling seven-days-a-week.
At the moment she’s not sure what she might do with her unexpected savings from the ZoneCard.
Wilma said: “I’m just so taken aback that I’ve actually won, I’ve never won anything before. I only entered because I just thought I was going to get a £7.50 voucher, I didn’t realise you got entered into another draw!
“The ZoneCard is brilliant as I never have to worry about having change for the bus and it works out cheaper than a weekly ticket, plus I have more flexibility about how I travel so I can use the bus or the train to get about.”
Twice a year, in Spring and Autumn, SPT offers ZoneCard holders the chance to complete a week-long travel diary detailing all the journeys they make with their ZoneCard. The competition is open to all travellers purchasing or renewing a ZoneCard during the survey week, with SPT selecting a winner at random from all completed diaries.
Everyone who completes the survey gets a £7.50 voucher which can be redeemed against their next ZoneCard purchase.
