The latest winner of a year’s free travel thanks to SPT’s ZoneCard survey prize draw is Strathclyde University library assistant Marie Grant.

Marie, who lives in Dumbarton, commutes into town daily for work using the train, and often travels into the city again at weekends.

Marie said: “I commute up four zones worth on the train but due to cost-effective ZoneCard, if there’s a bus handy around Queen Street heading for my workplace in Cathedral Street I might jump aboard!

“I wouldn’t be without my Zoney for train, bus and underground travel to get about town seven-days-a-week.”

The ZoneCard Survey prize draw takes place twice a year, in Spring and Autumn, and is open to anyone with a ZoneCard. Passengers are asked to complete a week-long travel diary detailing all journeys they make with their ZoneCard. The competition is open to all travellers purchasing or renewing a ZoneCard during the survey week, with SPT selecting a winner at random from all completed diaries.

All eligible ZoneCard holders who complete the survey receive a £7.50 voucher which can be redeemed against their next purchase.

Marie added: “Filling in the diary for a week was well worth it to win a year’s free travel especially as I really do rely on mine a lot to get around. I’d encourage anyone to take part next time round.”

Marie was presented with her prize by Stagecoach Commercial Director Fraser Smith, who said:
