Getting around

Tramway is an international art-space which commissions, produces and presents contemporary arts projects.
A Grade B listed entertainment venue and former cinema, O2 Academy Glasgow is steeping in heritage from live music, cabaret and comedy to club nights.
The Glasgow Science Centre is the place to go for all things science and technology related, with exhibitions and activities for everyone including the Glasgow Tower and planetarium!
Home to Scotland’s biggest screen, IMAX at Glasgow Science Centre shows the latest movies – not to be missed!
The Scottish Event Campus hosts some of the biggest events and includes The SSE Hydro, SEC Armadillo, SEC Centre.
The OVO Hydro plays host to national and international music megastars as well as global entertainment and sporting events.
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
Glasgow Film Theatre is Glasgow's original independent cinema and the home to Glasgow Film Festival, Glasgow Youth Film Festival and Glasgow Short Film Festival and more!

Riverside Museum is Glasgow's award-winning transport museum with over 3,000 objects on display and everything from skateboards to locomotives, paintings to prams and cars to a Stormtrooper.
An entertainment centre which sits on the River Clyde and offers various restaurants, cinema, bowling, bingo and more.
The Mitchell Library is one of Europe's largest public libraries with over one million items of stock and is the hub of a city-wide information service.

History
The Glasgow Subway has been open since 1896 and is one of the oldest Subway systems in the world! We’re recognised as the third oldest Subway underground railway system in the world, after London and Budapest. Originally, we opened as a cable-hauled system but have since upgrade to electric traction. We’ve been through a few transformations over those years and are currently undergoing modernisation to ensure our service is modern, reliable and efficient.
